2009年嘉士伯盃手足球公開賽圓滿成功!

經過了18小時的手足球激戰, 第一次的國際比賽充滿了趣味, 熱情, 以及刺激. 兩天的賽程我們總共發放了超過5萬元新台幣的現金, 獎品.

感謝所有參與比賽的朋友以及各位帶來的運動家風範及拼戰精神. 第一次ITSF Pro Tour共有馬來西亞, 香港, 加拿大, 美國, 當然還有台灣等地的選手參賽. 各球友之間的友誼令人印象深刻, 展現在球員之間的相互尊重以及互相支持之間.

本人也要特別感謝各工作人員的辛苦工作, 早在比賽開打前2個月就有許多工作人員開始籌備. 也感謝整個周末都在場當義工協助比賽進行的朋友. 沒有你們在手足球運動上的付出, 這個賽事根本不可能舉辦!

另外, 我們不能忘記大會贊助場商嘉士伯台灣, 感謝嘉士伯贊助中華民國手足球協會推廣手足球運動.

The 2009 Carlsberg Cup Taiwan Foosball Open was a tremendous success!

With some 18 hours of foosball played, our first international competition was enjoyable, entertaining, and exciting. Over the two days, we awarded over 50,000NT in cash, awards, and prizes.

Thank you to all the participants for competing, and showing excellent sportsmanship. This first ITSF Pro Tour international event was certainly well-represented with players from Malaysia, Hong Kong, Canada, the United States, and Taiwan. The comradery in our sport is truly remarkable, as evident in the respect and support between players.

I'd also like to thank the hardworking crew of volunteers that helped tirelessly over the months leading up to the tournament, as well as those who helped throughout the weekend. Without their dedication to the game of foosball, this event would not have been possible.

Our appreciation also goes to our tournament sponsor, Carlsberg Taiwan, for their commitment to helping the Taiwan Foosball Association promote foosball.

The tournament results are shown below, and we look forward to hosting our next tournament here in Taiwan.
